The only one, our lives know
Keep it clean and make it nice
Leave it green
Not like a dumpster for mice
As humans we have the power
To change, to create, and to devour
To shape the world as we see fit
But keep in mind in just a bit
When the earth draws its last breath
So shall we and with regret
