• He sat there screaming, but no one could hear
Above the yelling that occurred beyond his door
A little boy left in fear, to hold down the fort alone

He stood there crying, small but sane
As shouting pierced through that door
A bigger boy wanting love, as the baseball game was missed by all

He raged there, cutting through his flesh
As same shouting pranced through said door
Who knew he'd have so much to hate, on his birthday, 16 years, gone

He pounded furiously on his cage
    No more could he take
He broke down that door, screaming a tune
For his parents to take a break

    "You're driving me crazy
    You're driving mad
Scum like you should not exist
    I'd wish you would die
    and learn to just lie
    Instead of your ******** pointlessness"

They looked at him as if he was lost
Insane they made him into this
Lost to the world at age 18
    With all of the arguing
    Greatest parents
    A pile of bullshit

    And all they could say
    And all they could do
Was chastise him for his honest-to-God truth
    They made him the villain
    Scolding at his sense
And their yelling continued at a new source at best

    "Breaking Doors Down!
    An animal, I protest!"
And created, they did, the monster left yet to rest.
