Don't be afraid
For there's nothing to fear
Here on the cliff ends
And here on the pier
Where there's nothing but smiles upon every face
For we're waiting to venture to a magical place
Where the butterflies flutter
Up high in the wind
Where the serpents drink soda
And the rainbows begin
Where the rabbits eat sunshine
And the grass grows below
It's the place where I'd like
For you and I to go
Let's make it last
'Till the end of all time
Where no shadows can be found
And only light is divine
Hold my hand and I promise that I'll clutch on to you
You will have to hold on to your imagination too
Where the butterflies flutter
Up high in the wind
Where the serpents drink soda
And the rainbows begin
Where the rabbits each sunshine
And the grass grows below
It's the place where I'd like
For you and I to go
It's the place where I'd like
For you and I to go

- Title: Where the Butterflies Flutter
- Artist: UWillKnowMeAsThatGuy
- Description: This poem was written about a friend who I had a huge crush on. I eventually told her how I felt, but that I really didn't want to go anywhere with it. I needed to tell her just so that we could become closer as friends. It worked out. We stayed friends, and we're still friends right now. I wrote this poem in between all of this, before I told her. I think it stands as a work either way. Enjoy.

I really like this poem, it's so serene. You created something really magical here, the best i've seen in a while.
Put commas etc at the end of each line for a better finish. - Report As Spam

- Sometimes I get tired of writing poetry. In fact, I get tired of writing it a lot. When I do, I leave it alone for a while until I I'm bored or get inspired. It's the same about my other writing and stuff. I get tired of it, so I go on to the next thing n come back when I feel it's right too. ^^ Thanks for da comment!
