They just work and they just play,
But you simply wander through the day.
You do not know the time nor date
For you are Insanity's playmate.

The day is dull and the dark is bright.
What they all love you must fight.
You hate to love and love to hate
Because you are Insanity's playmate.

They laugh at you and they make fun,
Because you are not like everyone.
They might repent, but it will be too late
As you are Insanity's playmate.

It never really occurred to them
That you would be the sparkling gem.
So while they suffer at the hands of fate
You will be spared as Insanity's playmate.
