There was a weak spot but we didn't see.
Somehow we managed to topple.
This great stronghold we built.
Thinking we're smart in the making.
Thinking it will last forever.
Now trying to figure what caused it to crumble under our feet like the many others we watched fall.
Was it from age?
Was it from change?
No we all stayed the same.
Was it that small crack we ignored turned into something much greater?
We thought it was taken care of, covered by the skills of others.
But no, that little crack was able to bring us down.
Make us to rubble.

- I liked it a lot. I hate it when poems are all rhymey and stuff, but yours had just enough of a pattern to be very interesting. I enjoyed it very much. smile
