I feel your eyes watching me from deep inside the brush.
As you ready yourself to pounce this forest becomes hushed.
It doesn’t matter if I run or how I try to hide.
You will follow my pounding heartbeat because it means I’m still alive.
My eyes dart around wildly but I already know,
now’s the time to give up hope and let my heart beat slow.
If I ran you’d chase me, Until I lay still.
As the sun starts to set
You make the kill.

This is exciting. And really cool from the point of view of the prey. Oh! For
your next story you should write from the point of view of the hunter. Wouldn't that be cool?! - Report As Spam
