Another Lost Soul

• Description: (Based on my wild imagination)- I have a shipwreck out at sea. I see another boat in the distance and call to it , but it's moving further away. In my fear, I start having illusions (explains the hand on fire). I'm now half-concious and slowly sinking beneath the ocean where the water engulfs me. My body adds to the many other unfortunate sailors who lost their lives at sea...
  -the reason i call them lost souls is basically because they cant rest in peace (unwanted death etc.) -THx4ReaDiNG-

Deep within the darkness
I saw a light
but it vanished from view
just as I reached out to touch it
Is it my imagination?
Or is everything fading..
My arms are outstretched
but not a touch..

On my bare palm
a flame is growing;
consuming my flesh
but its swiftly cast away
by a cold rush of air..
Or was I dreaming?

My heart skips a beat
my soul escapes my body
Am I sinking?
I’m not sure
but I could feel the water
rushing through my lungs
bursting through my veins
like a waterfall on a starry night

My mind wanders far away
to the depths of a vast ocean
while I follow
next in line
to join the lost souls.
