The bright, white beauty
Of winter's day
Freezes over
Time's delay
The flowers wilt
The trees go bare
Carrying death
In the crisp, cold air
Little snowflakes
Drop on the ground
Quickly accumulating
Without making a sound
But the cold
The frost, the fear
Will end so soon
Spring is near

- That's actually a good idea. I shall do that now. Thanks for the comment. ^^

- I also love winter and enjoyed this poem, you have a very simple but lovely rhyme scheme but I disliked the last stanza as it contradicted the tone, I would advise (though it is your choice of course) to either rewrite that stanza or to leave it out and end the poem with Spring is near.
