Click clack click clack
Drip drop drip drop
White noise whispers behind my windows
Something hidden within those drips

Fade in and fade out
Those soft little droplets
On the peddles they fall
Bending the leaves

The sudden rumble after the flash
Awakens and disturbs my concentration
Straining to hear those little whispers
Clicking and Dripping down the drains

Though the sky is dark and moody
There is still the rays of light
And listen closely to those drops
A story deep inside

Darkness wavers in and out
And the droplets fall harder then softer each time
But that little ray of light opens the skies
And the darkness is blinded and fades
