    Lurking in the blacken shadows, there eyes speak of death.

    I awake in the hours of darkness
    Hearing my own screams.
    The icy tears burn familiar paths, down my ashen cheeks.

    Fearing to close my eyes, for I know they aren't far.
    These Demons that rise at night, they tear at my heart.
    I know that they are there, they aren't always that far….
    Waiting to rip my fragile body apart.

    They roam in my mind alone.
    They tear me limb from limb
    My screams seem to excite them more
    So I laugh in my pain and I smile when I want to cry!

    Just do not look to deep, don't look into these eyes.
    For there I know you will see, behind this, the thin disguise
    A vicious beast that lurks deep within.
    Turning my heart to ice, I claw and tear at my skin, desperately, wanting to be free.

    This Dark Beast that harbors, my every sleeping thought.
    So come as I open my arms and let you in.

    And Immortals breath, that awakens me inside.
