- Is there no end to war? The true end to everything isn’t death, it is history, the death we know doesn’t hunt our legacies, our will and testament, our plans for the future, the death we know is the only hunter of his only prey, us. As he stalks us, we flee, but we only postpone him, he’s there in the cardiology ward after your second heart attack, he’s there at the bottom of the cliff from which you just fell, he’s there in your bedroom as you quietly slip into death’s chilled hands, he doesn’t care if your white or black, Israeli or Palestine, man or women, rich or poor. Why must we?! There is no end to war as we know him for he is like death, he destroys us, he doesn’t end our legacies’ as he ends our lives and follows our futures, that is history’s job, and he excels
