I turn savage when I feel pain
But around you I don't go insane
Because I feel your love like endless rains
And you freed me from these suffering chains
For that I am grateful and I thank you
You make me forget what I’ve been through
Alone I was the animal that was always blamed
Around you I am the animal that now is tamed
My whole entire life there was nothing but shame
But for some reason out of the dark a light came
At first I didn’t know the meaning
That’s because I didn’t know the feeling
Then I finally figured out it was the one I love
Out of the crows in my life you are the dove
My eyes were blinded by fear
But your voice made things clear
Now with my eyes open I can see
The beautiful person that set me free
Because of you I no longer live in fright
With you I can walk through the night
You are the one saved me from my doom
You are the joy out of all my gloom
You’re the only thing that fills my head
If you ever leave me I will be dead
