Water crawls up the bathtub walls falling from my shower head
creating a false waterfall High above my head
The drain is off just like my mind
And I fly away from body and time
I wait
Wait For what?
I don’t know what
But I know it is
I don’t know why
But I know I will
I don’t know how
But I know I can
And I don’t know when
But I know it’ll happen
So I close my eyes
And think upon my life
As the water crawls
Higher up the bathtub walls
My problems seem to slowly sink
Beneath the falls, so far beneath
And I listen to the continuous splash
Like rain into a puddle during a lightning crash
I wait
Wait for what?
I don’t know what
But I know it is
I don’t know why
But I know I will
I don’t know how
But I know I can
And I don’t know when
But I know it’ll happen
So I slip away
Deep into my getaway
Water hitting water
Cold and soft ripples against my skin
I sink beneath the tiny waves into a quiet ocean
And I wait
Wait for what?
I don’t know what
But I know it is
I don’t know why
But I know I will
I don’t know how
But I know I can
And I don’t know when
But I know it’ll happen
So I hold my breath
As the water crawls above my head
The drain is off just like my mind
As I fly away from body and time
And I listen to the continuous splash
Like rain into a puddle during a lightning crash
The cold and soft ripples against my skin
I am beneath the waves of my minds ocean
And I wait
