Hark how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say
Throw cares away.
Christmas is here
Bringing good cheer
To young and old
Meek and the bold.
Ding dong ding dong
That is their song
Their joyful ring
All caroling.
One seems to hear
Words of good cheer
From everywhere
Filling the air.
Oh how they pound
Raising the sound
O'er hill and dale
Telling their tale.
[Gaily they ring
While people sing
Songs of good cheer
Christmas is here.
Merry merry
Merry Christmas.
On on they send
On without end
Their joyful tone
To every home.
Hark how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say
Throw cares away.]
Christmas is here
Nothing to fear
Stroll through the night
Star's lovely light.
Dong ding dong ding
Forever sing
Cheer with no end
Be young again.
Remember how
Joyful the sound
Laughter to gain
Forget all pain.
Oh how they pound
Everyone now
Come through the hills
Summon the bells.
[Chorus]
All red and green
Gold to be seen
New mistletoe
Love still has hope.
Best of all days
Bright merry blaze
Hear the bells speak
All hate is weak.
One two and three
Come dance with me
To the bells' song
Nothing is wrong.
Bells ring so bold
Song of the world
Story it tells
Carol of bells.
[Chorus]

- Artist: Poetic Progression
- Description: What can I say? I got bored at school, so I felt like adding a few extra lines to my favorite Christmas song of all time, "Carol of the Bells". The original song is the entire first 9 stanzas, the rest some rhymes I threw in with the song. I'm also making my own version on my piano, so maybe I'll record it and make it a song.
