• The season has come at last,
    the year has gone by so very fast.
    The time for cheer,
    has finally come near.

    Yet, in this joyful season,
    I will explain the sad yet happy reason.
    We shouldn't forget to remember,
    why we can celebrate safely this December.

    With each passing day,
    A soldier is making his way.
    Through cold, and heat,
    the enemies scatter when they hear a US soldiers marching beat.

    They fight on in hopes of one day,
    they can return home on Christmas day.
    They fight for their families and friends,
    so that their friends can keep up with shopping trends.

    So if you see a soldier walking by,
    remember to thank them for days gone by.
    For Christmas is a time to remember,
    who is keeping us safe this cold December.
