    there was a knock at her door
    her true love came once again.

    He stood at her door,
    in the colors green and brown
    wore boots that had been completely worn out.
    She didnt know whether to scream or to cry,
    so she embraced him and kept all her feelings inside.

    He stood taller than he had before,
    had a smile that made her heart soar.
    He pulled her close and held her tight
    told her he had been alright.

    She smiled as a tear welled up in her eye,
    she looked away
    emotions trying to hide.
    They were making their way outside.

    He looked at her and said,
    "I will do anything i can to see you again."
    she smiled and hugged him one last time
    bidding him a friendly goodbye.

    Turned away and shut the door,
    and felt something she had never felt before.
    Went to her room and cried,
    and cried and cried and cried.
