• Rising life, falling words
Isn't it funny how things can be so absurd?
The smallest things can burn to ash,
While the best things can leave a gash,
On your heart, On your soul
But it's best to never leave them untold.
    The words are power,
Write them by the minute, the second, the hour,
    The story of your life,
Write them in order to banish the strife.
For words can be your savior,
    If you understand their behavior,
    Like a soldier at attention,
    Or a jew in detention,
Your best friend is the book,
That the thief sticks into a nook,
In a cranny, in a crack,
She puts them there without looking back.
The words had spared her soul,
Because she felt they should be told.
In a book, in the mind,
The words have saved her from my kind.
