When you left this world
Half of me went with you
Up into the sky
Is where my best friend flew
I know that you're gone
And I know I can't see you
But somehow you remain
In my heart I still feel you
I prayed every night
That you would be better
But no one even cared
They ripped up my letters
You taught me how to breathe
You held me so closely
But then you disappeared
And left me so empty
Ever since that day
I've grown this much darker
I'm counting down the days
'Till I finally depart here
I miss your voice
And every word you said
Made me feel better
But now those words are dead
When you went away
And I found this was true
I went with you
And far away we flew

- i hope this poem isnt based on a real event, because if it is, im srry, and somewhat understand. because one person that was like a best friend to me died once. and this is how i felt. for a moment in time anyway.
