I’m free; finally I’ve broken the chains
I thought it was you holding me down
I was wrong
It was not you, but She, Them
The ones I would never suspect
The ones I trust the most
It is that dependence that held me down.
I wish I could say I’m sorry, but now it’s too late
I want to say thank you, but I don’t know how
I lost you forever but that’s okay
We were only meant to be for a fleeting moment in time
This is the way it is and is suppose to be
You and me were never meant to be
You were only meant to change my life
