-
here I can gaze out at the waters edge
salt in the air a cool breeze on my neck
It is here where I feel my sorrows hedge
my troubles can sink like a long lost wreck
coming here when I need to forget
break away from the past at cut throat rate
past melts away at the sight of sunset
time standing still letting me choose my fate
on a winters walk or a summers ride
I can stop and it's happiness I find
Its to this place I could always confide
natural beauty that can't be defined
don't break or fall to the torture of man
for sanctuary I can't find again
