Dancing with death
A carefully carless dance
Sweet music thrums to the
Thumping of our hearts
Empty promises whispered
Into def ears loose their meaning
and their lure
Deaths Dance entraps, entranced, and ensnares all
Dancing with Death on the precipice of forever
is a deadly bet
a deadly chance
The last one you'll ever take
Wiles and Whims will be forever lost
Dreams long forgotten will be buried
deeper into the sea of the mind
never to resurface and grow
DEATH
He first takes your mind
Then your body
Then your soul
He encourages it to whither, decay, and rot.
All this happens when you miss a step
In the Dance of death
Called Life

- Title: Dance of Death
- Artist: Whispering Shadower
- Description: I was ,and this is going to sound horrible, in church when these lyrics came to me. I was listening to the tragic story of a parish members death in a car accident and how she was a young dancer inspired, like me, byEdgar Allen Poe and the Grimm brothers. I did not know her or her name but i felt, since we shared a common interest and love of tragic horror stories, she needed to be honored in a way hoped she would have loved.
