• Walking Dead

Here begins the tale of the girl walking dead.
Stumbling through life with the weight of constant
    dread.

    But not today.

For once, she appears to be happy. Today is the day
her spirit finally walks free. Free of the dread.

Now flip up the covers to the far right corner under
her bed. You’ll find a small wooden box painted
with the colors black and red. In there are the various
letters all enclosed. In those lay the truth that no one
knows. Each of them say goodbye to family and
    friends.

But wait. This isn’t where the story ends.

The latch is locked on her wooden box. The key
hangs around her neck next to her golden locket.
Today is the day she took off the chain and slipped
    into the key keeper’s pocket.

On her laptop is a secured file with a farewell video
called “Caged Bird”, inside the golden locket lies
the password. If anyone would dare to ever look
elsewhere, they would find all the hidden clues.
Dread or bliss, she had to choose. Even when it
all ends, she still didn’t lose.

Haven’t you heard of the caged bird?

Every falling star is a wish that fell dead, and as her
last wish crashed and burned to the ground,
    she looked around.

    Her answer was found; bliss.

There’s one final stop as she approaches her swing
and miss. Her last move was one so clever, as she
wrote the words, “I’ll love you forever” on a slip of
paper, pressed in the palm of her heart’s taker.

The paper’s been unfolded, but it’s too late..
her ******** up life had crumpled to fate.

It truly was a foolproof plan; gone, but not forgotten.

Truth be told, she felt her own lies growing old,
surrendering the charade. It looks like life’s debt has
    finally been paid.

And Death always comes to collect,

the lives of the people it spreads and infects. At last
when it seems that all has failed, you’d sure as hell be
wrong. It all went according to her plan all along.

Up until her very last breath, she smiled and humbly
bowed in the face of death.

Her last words she said will be ringing in your head,
because the last time you saw her, she was scrawling
the title in her notebook called, “Walking Dead”.
