• You ask for my respect, but you have not earned my friendship. You beg me for my love, but you have not yet earned that compassion. You plead for me to unlock my heart and give you my soul, but you do not have the key. You use sweet words to try and melt my heart, but it is protected and being kept safe for the right person to earn my friendship, to earn the respect, to earn the key to my heart. Until then, all you can do is look at my soul through my eyes, and wish you had the key to make me yours.
