• We sleep tonight,
Under the stars that shine bright,
    We hold hands,
    Walking through these dreamy sands,
    Your face is calm,
    Laying on my open palm,
    Snow falls from the sky,
    It twinkles in your eye,
The cold brings you closer to me,
We hold each other in this deep dark sea,
Your breath is warm against my chin,
Leaving goose bumps all along my skin,
    I stare into your eyes,
Moments later you kiss me by surprise,
    Your lips crush against mine,
And your hand traces up my spine,
But something's weird about this kiss,
Others were different but not like this,
    It feels too strong,
    Strong enough to be wrong,
Your arms pull me closer to you,
Wrapping me in a bind that no one can undo,
We stop kissing and I give you a questioning look,
You look at me like I'm something you took,
Now I know something bad is to come,
I wonder who you took me from,
You know that I know and grasp me tighter,
Our breathing goes quiet and lighter,
The nightmares are under the bed,
You and I know that we are dead,
With each small breath you whisper my name,
I lay even closer to you so our death will be the same,
    The creatures attack,
Leaving us no time to look back,
My last sight is blood across your face,
Yours is the same but of me as we fade into empty space,
    Forever...
    Together.
