There's no title to award those who've struggled,
because everyone has whether it's big or little,
You can pretend like your life is nothing but perfect,
But this life making you perfect is only existent in nothing,
We act the way we dress the way we talk and the way were treated,
If a lion got in a fight with a gazelle you'd assume it's instantly defeated,
But you act like that if you're the lion you'll be the one doing the pushing,
Yet you can't catch the gazelle and you'll die simply from starving,
Life's a game of chess without knowing the strategy,
Being able to hold power within without being told how to use it,
Having infinitely many doors to go through but not knowing which one to choose,
Starting out with very little and exploding into whatever becomes new,
Life is acting like it's a game when it's really not,
Becoming either the agile gazelle or the lion that has fought,
Maybe even a different spirit or neither or somewhere in between,
Being strong is an assumption that mostly no-one will understand what it truly means.

- I love the poem, well written and full of meaning. As humans, we're all the same in that we struggle. We often don't get rewarded for it, but, there is generally some meaning within what we suffer. Even if it is simply the knowledge gained from it. My only criticism is "and the way were treated" "were" should be "we're." If you ever go in to edit or re-post.
