Darkest Before Dawn…
It’s always so dark and sad, angry, frustrating, and miserable
Just before you make it all better and everything is all right again.
And you always make everything healthier.
This is because we have something that can never be broken.
A connection that people have died for…
A bond that is nothing short of a miracle…
A relationship where two people love each other.
Just as I love you and you love me…
Because you make my fears seem so small
And you fight away my inner doubts
And you cure my tears from my watery eyes
With words so kind and caring in a special way.
And you’ve saved me…
From the hate in the world, from the pain caused by loneliness
And you’ve saved from something that I could never do on my own…
You saved me from myself…
And even when things are at their very worst,
I’m still so grateful to have you be my side.
Even when we are so irritated by each other…
By our actions and our words, the tone of our voices…
I still want to be with you.
Because it is always darkest before light,
There is a storm before the sun comes out,
There must be a little rain for there to be a rainbow…
And you are the sun that I wake up thinking about…
And you are the rainbow that makes my smile just before I rest my eyes at night.
You are everything that I could possibly ask for and more.
You are all that I want with even more than I deserve.
And I’m so happy to know that you call me yours.
Because I am.
I am all yours for the keeping as long as you’ll have me…
Because we love each other even at our worst of times.
There will never be a moment where I don’t miss you.
There will never be a moment where I regret being with you.
You are so concerned about my well being
You nurture me even when you’re annoyed by my actions
Because you are the greatest in this world and others.
And I love you.

Even when it seem like I don’t.
