mad "Strange what you remember and what you don't." He gruffly said. "Seems like there's something in your head that's purposely being blocked out."
mad "Well, you mind filling me in on what I don't know and what I should know?" I asked. Really was getting rather annoying that everyone is mad at me and I had no control over what happened.
Julius let out a deep, heavy sigh. "I'm not sure you're ready for that information." confused
scream "I'm not... Julius!" I cried, "I've been through Hell and high water searching for answers, how can you say I'm not ready?" But the mushroom was unmoved by my outcry.
mad "Because you're not in the right state of mind to handle it. When you get your level head back on your shoulders, I'll tell you. Until then, I'm not telling anything." He flatly said.
stressed I could not believe what I was hearing. I come all the way down here trying to find answers and make sense to what I did not know and this knee-high shroom was not spilling anything. "Fine, I'll just find a way to return magic and take down Sevilen without it or you." I made my way for the door.
mad "You will do no such thing." Julius snapped. "You will only make things worse than you already have."
I paused and slowly turned to look at him. "'Worse than I already have'?" I asked, but recieved no response. With that, I left and headed down the street.
Finally, I stopped at one of the over bridges that looked down upon an underground river. Emi scrambled down my arm and stood on the railing. Her tiny ice blue eyes looked up at me with concern. I couldn't bear to look at her. It pained me to.
"Karakal...?" She asked. I gave no response. "I don't care what they say, I think you're a good person and didn't do anything wrong. He's a stupid shroom anyways." smile
"Thanks." Was all I could say. After another moment of silence, I finally looked at her. "Emi... what did happen three years ago...?"
