• You Lied

You told her you loved her,

    You know it's a lie.

    You saw her crying,

    Yet you just walk by.

She cried and gave up her life,

    All of this for you.

    She would die for you,

And that's what she thought was best to do.

You told her she wasn't pretty enough,

Yet her love is too tough.

She loved you no matter what,

    But that was never enough.

You listened to the lies your friends told,

You thought your words could change her.

She was never clay to mold,

Even her friends treated her like a stranger.

    Her love was true,

    That meant nothing to you.

You only said you loved her to get her back,

Now you can never get her back.

She's gone and all because of you,

    There's nothing you can do!

    You can't save her now,

How could she love you? How!

You knew she thought if she was gone,

    Well maybe you'd be happy.

She's gone but she was wrong,

And I've been quiet for too long.

I don't know what she saw in you,

    There must be good somewhere.

Because what she found caught her heart,

And yet you chose to tear it apart.

She needed help with her life,

Yet you laughed when she cried.

You told her you loved her,

    But you lied.
