• Seven long years at Beverly have come
They were all great but others better than some.
We laughed, we cried, we giggled, and learned,
To some, school was a place we yearned.
We had our first crushes, we had our first friends,
And still today some of our friendships haven't met their ends.
This poem is an ode to our good-bye,
You might have different feelings about his,
You might laugh or you might cry.
As we scan the memories of all out years,
Just a reminder, this poem goes out to our Sixth Grade peers.

The first day of Kindergarten was thrilling and exciting,
Mrs. Robb, Mrs. McDonough, and Mrs. Calsyn were all inviting.
Going to school when we were younger made us scared and eager,
But now since we're older it's no big deal, it's meager.
We went to the Pumpkin Famr and watched chicks hatch,
We tried to find the Gingerbread Man we made in a batch.
Soon after our year of Kindergarten was over,
Me and my friends were nothing but somber.

After all the sadness and craziness was gone,
We started to discover independence and moved on.
Mrs. Brunskill, Wilhelm, Bader, and Lorotte,
Were ready for a bunch of First Graders, a load, a set.
Our first far feild trip was the one to the beach,
We saw starfish, crabs, luckily not a leech!
Frog and Toad day was a lot of fun!
Face masks, and cookies went into brown paper bags when we were done.
Two school years down, five more to go,
Summer was fast but to others it was slow.

Once again a new school year came,
Mrs. Vaa, Eschrich, and Weber were so not lame.
We watched caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies,
The Teddy Bear Sleepover was a beary big suprise!
We learned about clouds and multiplication,
    Texture, plants, and condesation.
    Still Primary and almost Intermediate,
The thought of the big kids side was not scary, just a teeny bit.

Another school day, another school year,
Adds up to a brand-new fear.
The teachers were great and super-stylin',
There was Mrs. Arnold, Terwilliger, Ceasar, and Weinmann.
Pilgrims and continets were interesting subjects,
Surface tension really has amazing affects!
Along with great teacher, we each had a class pet,
when one went missing, it made us upset.
Classes in Third Grade were whole but one split,
The year went by like one big hit!

Fourth Grade was a year to remember,
It all started in early September.
The teachers that years was Mrs. Ceasar, Mager, and Largent,
They all deserve the same respect as a Military Sergeant!
There was the Internationl Tea and the Washington State Corn Maze,
Playing Tetherball, Four Square, Ahhhh, those were the days.
Long multiplications and division was hard,
The first year of WASL had out little eyes scarred.
Soon, June came again once more,
It was time to leave another blue door.

    Re-entering school was a relief,
But some thought it was a leisure-time theif.
The year Grade Five had a lot of events,
Camp was incredible! We stayed in log cabins, not tents.
Officer Correa taught D.A.R.E and told us not to do drugs,
He also mentioned he was a soccer dad who gave out hugs.
There was not much time to spare and lots of projects due,
We had String Art and the Postcard project too.
Mrs. Grose and Mrs. Webster had their new-born babies,
Ms. Moxson will have her time, but for now she'll hang out with her ladies.
Just one more year with concerts and parties to attend,
Another remarkable year coming to an end.

The final year at Beverly seemes nerve-racking but cool,
We had to set good examples because we were the leaders of our school.
We had the chance to join Saftey Patrol,
In calss, we would have parties if we reached a certain goal.
The Scavenger Hunt in Seattle was wonderful,
We got to throw french fries at some of the gulls.
Instead of having a picnic at the park,
Ms. King, Mr. Rhodes, and Troyer came up with activities while the day was dark.
The Softball game was really fun,
    HAHA Teachers! We WON!!!
This year was amazing, I have to say,
Not all things were amazing, but that's OK.
We made new friends and learned a lot more,
Sixth Grade was a big memory galore.

Finally! This moment has arrived and come!
We're big kids now! It's like a big game we won!
We accomplished so much and acheived some of our dreams,
But making it this far isn't as easy as it seems.
Leaving this school fills me with pride,
But being scared is a hard thing to hide.
Elementary School was indeed a hard thing to juggle,
With problems everywhere, it was a struggle.
But no sad endings or lines right now,
Because school is over, so let's all take a bow.
