Child you needn't fear the dark, for softly singing is the lark.
Hush my child for you are safe, cradled deep within the Mother's embrace.
Hear my voice and know it well, for of the Mother I shall tell.
Like the Moon so soft and fair, the shadows' her dress and stars in her hair.
You can hear her laughter on the wind, and her heart accepts all even those who have sinned.
And even if you here this tale from another, you'll find no one loves us quite like the Mother.
- Title: The Mother
- Artist: Das Tor

Description:
A poem/lullaby I came up with. Larks have one of the most elaborate and extravagant calls among birds, so I thought the bird would be the perfect 'messenger' for the song...The dull little bird with a big song.
This tells of Mother Moon/Mother Night. - Date: 07/17/2008
