Elemental Sorrow
All for elements; maidens fair
Water, fire, earth and air
Nurturing all living things
Love and life: from them; they spring
Earth, of where the animals nest
And all of which she kissed and blessed
But impurities destroyed her skin
And drained her life; outside and in
Water; she cares for all sea creatures
Showing off her elegant features
But toxins poisoned her inside
And that is how she really died
Air: the breath of life, a pleasant breeze
A playful nymph among the trees
Was bought on down by heavy fog
And choked to death by filthy smog
Fire; a ditzy, fiery, "wild child" spirit
Chuckles and giggles (if you can hear it)
Abused by man to do unright
Instead of being soul and light
