These Elements of Life

• Description: I wrote this poem starting with the basic elements(as shown). I actually started it, with a perspective of myself, but then started thinking of someone else(you will never know who) that matters to me. So I wrote the rest in thought of what I see when I look at them and their life.

Like fire that burns,
your stomach must ache.
Your heart must pray to stop.

Like water that drowns,
your screaming is muffled.
The nightmares I know you've fought.

Like air that blows,
your bones must ache.
Falling has become a big deal.

Like earth that rumbles,
your world falls apart.
Your too numb to truly feel.

Like shadow that stalks,
you search in the dark.
But there lays nothing to find.

Like light that shines,
you have hope for life.
But your eyes are lost and blind.

Like a nature you live.
you bloom, you spread.
But wilt along the fall.

Like Love, your a victim,
you cant help to stop it.
You wished it never existed at all.

***NOTE***
When I say 'wind that blows', I mean it in two ways.
1.It blows. (Go figure.)xD
2.I also think 'blows' as in a hit, or a slap. If I don't explain that, the stanza doesn't make much sense.
In the end, you see the the poem is about love.
And when people think love, they think about romance.
But when I say love, I mean any form.
It could be the love of a friend, or family.
Or just romance. xD
