My heart keeps on beating,
Keeps on beating for you.

It hurts me inside,
It hurts others too.

All the pain that I've caused,
All the lives I've concerned.

I tell you I'm fine,
But you never believe me.

I'm glad that you care,
But I wish that you wouldn't.

It makes it that much harder to leave you.

It was how I felt,
But you got involved.

The more you say,
The more I fall.

Out of my depression,
Into nothing at all.

I'm glad that you care,
I'm happy you're here.

So, my heart goes on,
Keeps on beating for you.

And that is why,
I love you too.
