I wear my ring as a burden, weighing me down
Holding me back, blinding my vision, stopping my feet
The burden of my past making me cold, bitter, and full of hate
The rage inside of me something I can never sate
I wear my ring as a warning of revenge, bitter sweet
Pushing me along my path drowning out all sound
The revenge a remembrance of the immense pain
The horror flashing in my hazel eyes
I wear my ring as a promise to never give in
Holding me steady, opening my eyes, forgiving my sins
The burden of my promise called out in a cry
The eternal ending the only thing keeping me sane

Hmm, has something. Maybe you want to work a bit on your rhymes, but I think this was more about expressing emotions, and that worked. I liked it.
