• Don't ever imagine that because you can't see
The thing that you fear means that you are free.
It is just waiting until you are weak,
And then it'll pounce and make your visions bleak.

Just when you feel that the horror is over
And that you can be normal, live out of cover,
You'll get drawn back in, you'll be taken aside
And you'll pretend you're alright although you're screaming inside.

When you're alone you're bathed in cold sweat,
Because your body and mind are aware of this threat.
You can't fight back against it, not the way that you intend,
For if you lash out like that your Haven might end.

You'll recover with time, it hurts but it works.
You'll watch the sun rise and hear Coffee perk.
Take all in stride, take all by the day,
You'll live a lot longer, and you'll remain slightly sane.

There isn't an expert on fighting these things,
Just people with paper and solutions with strings.
Time and your friends can be all that you need,
Bear your soul to those you trust and you may feel free.
