She lets her head fall back on the merry-go-round
Full lungs scream but there is no sound
Her arms wide open while she spins fast
She thought she was free but she's just back at last
Because there is no beginning and there is no end
It's down the rabbit hole, and back again
Nothing really dies and nothing ever changes
And we'll all fall back to who we've always been

Beautiful and sensitive as always.
Suggestion(s): My only observation is that the final two lines stand in too stark a contrast to the rest of the poem, resulting in something of a jolt for the reader. I'll PM the rest.
As for you Kasuma56, quite a gaffer of a jokester eh? You really bungled that one.
Sorry NakedJack, I disagree (although I still gave this one a 5/5), and yes, I do rate most poems on Gaia a 2 or 3.
_Roooose_ is a distinct exception.

- Someone gave this a 4...... honestly, if this doesn't deserve a 5, then 99% of the poems on here should score 2's

- I agree, you can't change but only grow as a person; Add to what you already are. Nothing you already have could be wrong, in my opinion. If I remember correctly, I know what this poem is about.
