Trying Not To Cry

  My brother is going away for a while...so thats what brought this up..
  So, in spite of my horrible mood and the urge to cry, I decided to write a little poem.

You never thought I cared that much.

But the truth is I do.

You didn't think I thought that highly of you.

But I do that too.

I didn't want you to go, at least not without a goodbye.

I'll close my eyes tonight, and try not to cry.

You are my brother, and a big part of my life.

I don't know what I'd do without you.

All those times I messed up, got grounded, just wanted someone to talk to..

You were always there.

But your gone for a while now..

And I didn't get a goodbye...

So I'll close my eyes tonight, and try not to cry..
