Alone, but Never Without You..

• Description: Poem I wrote while i was laying in bed, trying to force myself into a euphoria. anyway, it started out with the line "I Want to feel that way inside..." and once i had created the first line, the rest kinda just formed up for me. anyway, i punched it into my journal for review, but i'm afraid i've gone and jumped the gun by putting it up in the arena. oh well, here's hoping it works it's way to the top instead of getting lost in the pile of useless poems that no-one ever reads.

I want to feel that way again
I placed your bosom beneath my chin
and kissed your lips, so tender sweet
and that was what woke me from my dream

you were nowhere near to be found,
not here on earth, above the ground.
but from where you dream below our feet
you haunt me, love me, when I sleep

and while your life stood not the test of time,
I captured our love and placed it in this rhyme.
so you could be with me when I cry
and love me 'till, like you, I die....

Oh my... -smiles and claps- That poem was wonderful. It brought tears to my eyes. There was such a beautiful pain and the voice of true love and perfect sadness. It was...I dont' really have the words to describe it. I hope you continue to write work just a lovely as this.
