Lines
Which side is right?
Which side is wrong?
Must there always be a side?
A line?
That horrible trench between loved ones?
Oh, my sweet child, you must choose a side
For time waits for no one
It is passing by so quickly
Sweet Child you must choose!
For your indecisions make the hearts of others bleed
No longer are you wrapped comforably in your soft clouds of innocence
They have been torn away in the most horrible manner
You know the truth!
But...will you face it?
Which side is wrong?
Which side is right?
Sweet child you must choose tonight.
Which side will you choose I wonder
The right one?
The wrong one?
Or will you betray us all
You are being torn in half standing on that horrible line
Both sides are gentle yet, one it harsh and one is firm
Which one is true to you?
Which is the harsh?
Which is the firm?
Do they truly care?
Are you ready to find out sweet one?
When will you choose a side my dear?
The longer you wait the more you are torn
If you wait too long the rips will be irreparable
When you choose a side will it be the one who is right?
Will it be the one who is wrong?
Who even knows what is right and what is wrong?
What is evil and what is good?
There are neither!
Who decides these things?
There are only shades of gray! No black and white!
The side you choose little one,
it must be chosen quickly.
So much pull leads to implosion
Don't be like that little one
it hurts less to choose
no more crying in the dark
choose your side
let them embrace you
Do both really care?
Do you secretly loath them for pulling you?
I hope not my sweet child loathing leads to a bitter life
I would know
Though, I wouldn't blame you if you did
Choose wisely my child,
for time is running out
Will you choose the side that leads to happiness?
Sadness?
Anger?
Joy?
Explosion?
You will never know if you never choose child
Choose quickly my sweet,
for time is running out

- Description: This poem just randomly popped into my head one night when my family and I were driving home from my aunts house. It is about several different situations with different people all into one poem from one point of view.
