A sheer layer of mist shrouds
The mystic realm of the island
Blinding the children’s sanity
Leading them to savagery
Humanity’s weakness
The dark trees filled with slithering
Creepers lurking everywhere
No sunlight penetrates through
The thickness of the foliage above
Completely hindering Light from entering
Preventing the beauties of nature
To survive and fully live its life
Tiny trails of dirt are visible
Where the tracks of sows
Were engraved into the ground
Permanently leaving scars of Death
Himself, he deftly implants the images
Of Beasts into the children
Causing them to turn against hope
And plunge down deep into the darkness
The children are sculpted into perfect
Savage figures from head to toes
Holding man-made weapons for spilling
The blood of living creatures in the wild
Murdering the lives of the innocent
Fire, the source of life itself
Can be reversed into a dangerous
Weapon of humanity, destroying
Everything in his way yet also
Providing warmth and shelter
Yet the pure civilization they began was
Torn into pieces in a span of mere seconds
The evil seeping into minds of children
The violence imprinted in their skulls
Until there is no hope of turning back
