All the pretty little boxes;
Stacked up in a row.
All the pretty little boxes;
My feelings they’ll show.
All the pretty little boxes;
Wrap up my feelings, put them inside.
All the pretty little boxes;
Have to put them away, gottta hide.
Stack them in the closet,
Line them up the aisle.
Hide them with the skeletons,
Jeering with a smile.
Still,
All the pretty little boxes;
Creep to my bedside.
All the pretty little boxes;
Keep me wide awake at night.

- Description: I wrote this for a recent creative writing class. It came out suprisingly well. And for anyone who might be confused, "pretty little boxes" is a metaphor.

- nicely written. even flow, easy to comprehend, and just the right amount of words needed in each line.

its a good poem and your rhyming theme is done quite well.
The way you wrote with the abab acac dede acac style works very well. kudos - Report As Spam
