• A shadow in the night,
eyes show red in the darkness.
Stalking it's prey, feeding only at the darkest of times,
wipping every trace of light from existance,
a queen of the midnight sky, it's a great terror,
for both man and woman alike.
Mysterioius night disappearances, no one knows why,
everyone in fear that they're next.

Only I know why they occur, but know not,
wheather telling is the correct response,
or if my love for this creature,
so beautiful, so strong, is strong enough.
Night after night she attacks, prey unexpecting,
    night after night, she feeds,
    so there's no way,
of harming me, her love, her reason for living,
she's searched and suffered, trying to find me, trying to find her soul,
ever so long, just looking, I know nothow long she's looked,
but do know how long she'll want to be with me.

Centuries now, she's lived without emotion, years she's had them,
now that I've found her, she's changed,
she's seen many a loved one die, suppressing her feelings,
creating a mask to hide what she's lost,
until the moment fate brought her eyes on me, the one she'd love,
the one she might turn, keeping foreverin her heart,
    companion to spend eternity with.
