The Truth

Honestly,
how many people believe in honesty
and if they found a million dollars
would report it honorably

Not many
in fact very few
and those who did it
would get laughed at too

And it's quite a shame
that society puts it in a frame
sits it on a wall
and only looks at it when it rains

However through the rain I can see the light
and it leaves me to wonder "will I see the truth tonight"?

You should try to add two more lines to the last paragraph. Then it will seem a little more complete. I took a creative writing class a couple years ago, and one of the things that was recommended was to put a poem or a story aside for a bit and come back to it. Then see if you come up with something new or better than what you had originally...
