I wake up in the morning
unaware of what the day brings
it may bring that i am mourning
it may bring joys that ring
surprises all around each corner
waiting to catch me
who knew i could be such a loner
who knew i could be afraid of what might be
we all wish we could see what the future holds in store
so that if there's pain there wont be more
just to bring a little happiness and a little joy
we all wish we knew the unknown

the unknown is nor a person
or a thing
it is the reason we wake up
it is the reason were suspicious
it is what brings us mere pain
what is unknown is a mere essence
of what needs to be known

Your rhyme scheme is great, and well done. Here are two small, easy improvements that you could make: use capitals where appropriate, and use punctuation to spice up your poem and have it flow better.
