This experience, this unexplained feeling from within me,
As I look out to the horizon as the grey clouds billow overhead,
I feel strange, what would you call it?
Mist blowing through the breeze,
The intense fog sweeping past my feet; breathing aginst my dress in the wind,
I look up; crystal ovals falling from my face,
Realization? Or am I denying the truth?
Agony bleeding from within,
Rain drops pelt my body; penetrating me, teasing me,
What are you trying to say?
The wind picks up more violently,
Overcome by it's power, my eyes grow narrow from shock as I fall to my knees,
Is it you? Is it me? Are you speaking the truth?
My cloak begins to loosen and disappears as if it were never there,
My soaking hair dancing in the breeze,
Everything feels so cold, is this reality?
It was you,
You were the one trying to show me the way,
You were guiding me this far; it took me so long to realize it,
Suddenly, I feels warm, gentle hands carress my face; gently covering my eyes,
"Guess who?" says the voice.
Smiling, I turn from the storm,
Everything becomes clear,
It was you.
The horrific storm lightens up from your shining presence,
"It was always you. I love you." I said softly,
He pulls the loose strands of hair from my face and pulls me closer,
"Promise me you will never run away again. I love you too.",
I nodded as he took my hand in his,
This feeling, this unexplainable feeling in my heart,
It was you, it was what inspired me,
It was love.

- Title: Denying the storm
- Artist: emogirl_7555
- Description: I wrote this today, inspiration was from a storm last night that I had to drive home through where the water stood on the road going 55mph (speed limit), and it was blinding me, and lightning struck about 50 feet from my car, so yeah. Dangerous whether, ironic part from story is I was driving from seeing my boyfriend back home, he lives 19 miles away. So, enjoy! Comments appreciated! Thanks!
