• Summer Days
Shifting from blues and whites to pinks and yellows,
    Rotating from day to dawn.
Oh, How I wish I could sit on the ground,
And watch you reveil your true colors,
    Each and every day.
    Your days bring blossoms,
Which i find oh so sweet.
Willows brushing upon the whispering winds,
    The bluejays are flying,
    So high in the sky,
They spend their time singing to me.
How I wish I could be like them,
Swaying in the winds so freely.
My toes feel ticklish between the
    Cool, Minty grass blades.
The sweet icy sensation of the melting
    Cherry popsicle in my hand.
The warm sun shines upon me,
And I know I am not alone.
Your nights are cold, yet peaceful.
All I can hear is the sound of
    Toads croaking and crickets clicking.
The swift wind is cold, but comforting.
Because I know you will be here with me.
    Hello moon, How are you?
Your golden beauty shines in the night sky.
It resemles the cocoon of a
Beautiful flower that has not yet bloomed.
Awaiting the magic doing of metamorphosis.
It has yet captured my eye,
    And taken my breath away.
The mysterious mist of the night,
Threatens to engulf the starry night whole,
Yet they will not be held back,
    And they shall shine through.
    Oh thee beautiful shining star!
How big and bright you are!
    You light up my nights
    And brighten my life.
For you are the angel in me.
