‘twas the same night
when soft Autumn
put all my Daisy Daughters to flight
he came to them all
watching how their petals fall
Aphrodite wailed when she saw my
Roses, and they blush carmine
for these Daughters have ever been shy
but come whatever can
they still amaze all man
‘tis a terrible shame
he seeks to change my Daughters to his will
and desecrate all, even their name
I made my Violets how they are
and am pained to see them go so far
when they came back round
I knew it was not the same
all torn up from the ground
the roots taken
gone, forgot, forsaken
I knew, and my Daughters would not
I told them; Mums, Lilies, Poppies, and my beloved Irises.
accountable, they got what they ought
and now my tears
are as apparent as the turning of years
now, as I, a parent, weep
I ask of you, you damned Monster
that coveted them in their sleep
what have you to say?
where, O where, are my Daughters of May?

Description:
Not my best, but I like it...
I'm gonna be honest, you're probably not going to like what this is about... if you do, we are of similar mindsets. Basically, I was sitting in Eng4, and there was a cheer girl that always sat ahead of me and would wear deplorable clothing and say terrible, perverted things. It might make some people angry to hear/see that, but it just made me sad; I thought to myself how much more sad God must feel. - Date: 08/19/2009
