Perfect, were we created.
Perfect, exactly as intended.
Perfect, only in weakness now.
Perfect, in our own sinful eyes.
Temptation, appealing sin.
Temptation, our own demise.
Temptation, our perfection ruined.
Temptation, our lives destroyed.
Greed, our world's sole problem.
Greed, more, more, more.
Greed, erased by money.
Greed, reproducing faster.
Justice, its violent love.
Justice, the hurtful affection.
Justice, for God is perfect.
Justive, we must be punished.
Blood, perfection and justice.
Blood, spilled for love.
Blood, the perfect punishment.
Blood, eraser of sin.
Sacrifice, we killed a lamb.
Sacrifice, a goat, an ox, a ram.
Sacrifice, to save ourselves.
Sacrifice, the blameless one.
Mercy, our truest hope.
Mercy, unconditional love.
Mercy, that the Son would die.
Mercy, that the world would live.
Mercy, in the form of a cross.
Mercy, death for life.
Mercy, our past forgiven.
Mercy, a light for all time.
Mercy, the perfection ruined.
Mercy, temptation fought.
Mercy, greed made no more.
Mercy, with the violence of justice.
Mercy, innocent blood spilled.
Mercy, sacrificial offering.
Mercy, His word came by.
Mercy, dirty, bloody mercy.
- Title: Bloody Mercy
- Artist: L30NlTU5
- Description: I wrote this poem to describe the basic stages of how things went from Adam and Eve to Jesus Christ. I repeat things to hammer into your head what this really was.

- If only this weren't a damn jesus poem, it'd be great. Was Jesus truly merciful? I say it was all a pity play. He could have saved us without sacrificing himself, and he wasted his time. Haha, I'm having fun, tonight!
