Wandering…
Not all who wander are lost,
But I am among those lost wanderers,
Along this darkened path,
With no light to guide me,
And were I to fall,
I would pick myself up and carry on alone.
And I will continue this lonely progression;
This eternal funeral march,
Followed only by the folly of my ambition,
Like a phantom of a skull,
Grinning and wicked,
Mocking my petty desires for acceptance,
This is how is always was…
And how it always will be.
And yet,
I see a figure looming in the darkness,
It is you,
Perhaps I am not alone on this forsaken path,
To crush the shattered remains of my dreams beneath my feet!
Up until this moment,
I have wandered alone...
Would you..?
Could you..?
Walk with me in Hell?

- Title: Wandering
- Artist: Nycholas Flamel
- Description: I actually came up with this while sitting on my friend's porch after she said something or other about someone wandering around. This is my 8th entry and 7th poem. Hope you guys like this as much as the others! I know that I quoted J.J.R. Tolkien and Lamb of God, please forgive me.
