Dear mother and father,
today I bid you farewell.
In this letter I will say,
the things I could never tell.

For me the pain was too great,
and I could bear it no more.
Fear was all I had,
and there was nothing I stood for.

The hate for myself,
made my heart go numb.
And this is why I'm gone,
for the hurt I couldn't overcome.

Don't blame it on yourselves,
there was nothing you could do.
If there is one thing I could say,
it is that I love you.

Dear mother and father,
I hope you can forgive what I've done.
I'll be with you forever,
but now the pain has won.
